Bluebell Fashions

Well the day finally arrived for the grand opening of the Antiquity Township sim.

And OH MY!! what a great job they have done!! I have been visiting this sim off an on for a while now, well sis has a great shop there (Additions) and the change

over the past few weeks needs to be seen!!

So to get into the ’swing’ of things I headed out into the big wide world of SL fashion in

search of a victorian outfit……(not like I really need a reason to shop!!) but it was not as easy as I frst thought. Then I

remembered SLExchange! 

Much less time consuming, not as much fun, but if you are looking for a specfic type of outfit then SLExchange is the answer. Found what I wanted in less than 5 mins!!

I am wearing a the Victorian grey dress, by Taliah Talamasca. It is just what I was looking for!!! I love the hat, the book and the looking glasses!! The hand held glasses are animated when attached, making your avatar read the book!! Soo cool m’Lord! lol :^)

Well the festivities began at 2 pm SLT and continued until the closing awards celebrations at 8 pm SLT. And there were many events to particapte in!

I must say theballoon ride over the Antiquity sim was one of my favourites.

As well as the balloon ride, there were yard games, a treasure hunt (my friend tried this and loved it!), art show, horse race and a Geisha Show

The live music item at the new Antiquity music park was provided by a live streaming vocal performance with SL resident Paisley Beebe.

(Paisley Beebe is a professional singer in rl called Leonie Smith). Her performance was outstanding!!

Apart from all the games and acitivities, the nicest part of the night was meeting so many lovely people!! And the fashion?? Never knew Victorians could put on such style! :^P

Here, Lord Dusty Merlin and Lady Hope Coakes (hope I got the titles right!) show us how to put on the style!! Such a sweet couple! :^)

The evening was rounded off with an Opening Gala Ball, Mitsu Figero was the live DJ at the ball, with a variety of dances ( a few not for the faint hearted!! ). The live music was in classic style for the occasion.

A fantastic firework display at Red Rock ended a lovely day at the Antiquity sim. Sorry no pics as my pc gaveup by then!! :^( (the unfortuniate side effect of lag!!)

So whatever you are into this sim is really worth a visit!! Antiquity Township
